Sharon Thatcher received her MFA from Boise State University. Her short story, Trespassers,
was an honorable mention in The Atlantic Monthly 2004 Student Writer’s Competition. In 2009,
Trespassers was selected among the finalists as runner-up in the Faulkner-Wisdom Short Story Competition.
Her novel, The Principles of Mining, was a finalist in the 2010 Faulkner-Wisdom
Novel-in-progress Competition.
